well, obviously the townspeople would hate the supernatural residents in the house of sin. so i was thinking that there that supports them instead of hating them. they form some twisted belief that if they willingly offer up people and worship them, they'll be safe. there the ones that actually idolize him, probably know all the lore about angels, fallen angels, seven deadly sins and the tempter.

i think claiming hunters would be good, because then we can put a cap on how many there are (bc obviously there's gotta be a limit not everyone can know about what really happens in the house), but they don't necessarily need roles? bc people can just organise their own collabs w/ smaller groups of hunters?

yeah probably. i think there should be some claimable positions. like a "prophet" so to speak who supposedly gets visions. maybe a "priestess/priest" who offers off the virgins on lunar moons and prepares them for the sacrifice?? and then regular members. but like should it limited??? because i was thinking that it would make more sense for them to be small and recluse. or on the other hand, the could be a decent size so they hold some power in the town.

i'd say cap the number of hunters at fifteen for now. alternatively, it could be you can make a maximum of one per two non-hunter human characters you make (which must be completed and approved before the hunter can be) and that way we end up with a decent ratio plus people actually making normal humans

by the way, your idea was pretty good but I think the hunters and the cult should be the only people who know about the contract and what really goes on. We can't have a lot of people knowing or there might be rebellions or something
