You should be able to do it. Though being on a tablet has limitations, I think. OK Hanna, had a look at WorldCat and it looks like he's narrated quite a few books.
However, adding 1 extra space between Charles & Turner, so 2 spaces, gives him his own profile.

If you like you can check out his WorldCat profile, linked here:

and add them to the new profile. You just need to add the space, and no need to put them in the primary spot to do that anymore, you can edit them where they are, just remember to save the line.
OR if you don't want to, just post & I or another librarian will do it for you.
Would like to sort this myself if possible...

I've done all the Along Came a Spider audios.

:) No need to be sad, looking at Charles Turner's list of works there are other works left that you can move.
I was only interested in that one TBH as I'd just finished it and loved his voice. So much so that I've returned the next one to the library because he's not the narrator and it just doesn't sound right to me.. He is Alex Cross for me now (though Morgan Freeman could be his understudy: haha that's quite funny as most of Charles' acting work has been as an understudy). That WorldCat site isn't exactly comprehensive, but I've spent quite a bit of time researching him now and have quite a bit of info.; however I'm not quite sure how to add it into his profile. I've added him as narrator to a couple of books but they don't appear in his profile..

It seems like you managed it (moved books won't immediately appear on his author page due to caching, the "x distinct works" link should show them though), but here's the manual section on disambiguation: https://www.goodreads.com/help/show/2...
I'm still working on this, bit by bit, as and when I can. There are more Charles Turner's, and annoyingly none of them seem to have/use a middle name. I think I've worked out how to add/create a new author, but something strange seems to always happen...
I usually simply add a narrator/author, with the intention of checking that both are there and are unique, then deleting the 'wrong' one.. However, it seems to replace the 'wrong' one with the new one, which is fine, but slightly confusing...
I just tried a different way and just added a couple of spaces to 'Chuck' in the author field (Investigating Sociological Theory), but it's changed it to the Charles Turner that started this all off....

Sometimes it has a hard time changing author names that are very similiar. I can't offer any magic fixes. But persistence sometimes pays off & sometimes you just need to tweak it a bit more. And good on you Hanna, learning all kinds of good things. Much better when you have a go at something new yourself, with just a few hints thrown in.
Sometimes I accidentally enter autofilled (from my previous entries) value. Maybe that's what is happening to you, too.Hanna wrote: "I just tried a different way and just added a couple of spaces to 'Chuck' in the author field (Investigating Sociological Theory), but it's changed it to the Charles Turner that started this all off....

Why do you need 'Chuck' on Investigating Sociological Theory? Author is 'Charles' on the covers as far as I can see.
Aha. Hanna, I see that you moved one of the "Investigating Sociological Theory" editions to the second-spaced narrator profile - author has to be the same on all editions. Is that the same guy or you're just trying to clean the default profile?
Thanks Sandra :)It's the wrong guy Ayshe: see my post above ;)
I'll keep fiddling.. will get there in the end... WILL! lol
When disambiguating authors with the same name, it is really helpful to add a bio / a note in the description / a librarian note to the author profile(s) to indicate which author it is.
He doesn't exist...I have a bio ready for 'my' Charles Turner lol. Will add him soon.
Gotta go worksies :x

^..^
I also changed the initial 1-spaced profile to 4-spaced one and moved the books which weren't his back. The new default profile (where some of 'your' Charles' books still are, Hanna) is Charles Turner.
I've spent quite a lot of time on this now: discovered 5 Charles Turners, a Charles Tennyson Turner, and various other things along the way.. The Charles Turner that sparked this off for me gave me permission to use his photo which was nice, so I think I have done pretty much as much as I can on that score. There are still books I'm pretty sure are not in the right place with some of the other Charles', but I need a break from the constant research to check and verify.I have learned stuff, but have even more questions now. There's no rush though I guess..
:)
I think the default Charles Turner profile should be without any bio as the person whose bio you added isn't the author of all books there and the automatic imports will add further works some of which won't be his either.

Isn't he also the narrator of "To Build a Fire", "Ben's Trumpet", "A Picture Book of Martin Luther King, JR.", "In Daddy's Arms I Am Tall: African Americans Celebrating Fathers", "A Picture Book of Rosa Parks", "The Blues of Flats Brown", "A Picture Book of Frederick Douglass", "Cracking the Wall: The Struggles of the Little Rock Nine"? They are on the default profile: https://www.goodreads.com/author/list...

Apologies if posted in wrong place or insufficient info: I'm on tablet (unfamiliar). Would like to sort this myself if possible...
