I'm really interested to see where it goes now. Obviously Andrew and Hallie can't leave the NAC, or at least not permanently. The obvious hook that Marko leaves is the "new tactic" or "new plan" that Earth needs beyond the Destroyinator Class warships.
My bet for the next one is Colnel Mahsoud recruiting them both for something special either soon after they retire or just before.
One bit in this bothered me. Just prior to deploying on New Svalbard Andrew grabs his old pistol out of his locker ... except that it already been confiscated. Turns out that this was one of a couple of continuity errors in the text: http://www.markokloos.com/?p=1908
I missed the detail about the pistol.
I enjoyed the book overall, but Kloos needs to speed up the series. I feel like things are being dragged out a bit too much.
It doesn't help that I read somewhere that this was supposed to either be the last book or wrap up some things. Essentially nothing happened but an increase in hostilities with the lankies and this new ship and the ground mechs.

I enjoyed while reading, then thought, wow nothing really happened!
Yeah, I'll probably mark it as 3.5 rounded up in my review because I did enjoy it while listening, but very little actually happened IMHO.
