SOLVED! Princess from the magical realm comes to the mundane realm and meets two brothers (YA fantasy) [s]

She comes from a realm where they use magic and live in a medieval society. The brothers are from the mundane realm which is our modern world. I think the two brothers were in highschool, and the princess talks them into having a sort of jousting match on skateboards.

I bought this book at a Scholastic bookfair in middle school. (1999-2002)

Possibly Princess Nevermore? She ends up living with a brother and sister and their grandfather. I believe the 'joust' takes place between the brother and another kid in school.
