Read this last night... meant to comment... another enjoyable outing... these books have a real time travel vibe, since each book seems to put the characters in a different historical setting... 1930s Boston/Chicago, Steampunk London, Classical Venice, etc...

Parentage: (view spoiler)[we got implied confirmation, I think, that Irene is the daugther/niece of the Big Bad of the series (forget the name) now that we know she's adopted, and we already know that the Library slows aging... (hide spoiler)]

Dragons: (view spoiler)[Nice to get a closer look at Dragon Politics, after the Fae book... such a tightrope to walk to survive (hide spoiler)]

Ending: (view spoiler)[Didn't see this coming... altho it was a given that Irene/Kai would happen eventually... I wonder how this will play out in future books, now that the Library link has been cut... (hide spoiler)]

Are we reading the 5th book next month?... it comes out on the 29th of November... the author page says she has a contract for 8 books and counting... I wonder how the events at the end of this book will play out for that long?

I will be picking this up once I get more of a handle on Silverthorn.
I am blasting through Wrath but Silverthorn is telling me to take it slow.

I love this series as well. The different worlds really do give a time travel vibe.

I picked this yesterday for an easy read... was the right choice...
