Gef (wagthefox) I recently purchased a SanDisk Sansa Clip+ 4 GB MP3 Player, with one of the key features that I can play Audible audiobooks on it, which is great because I wanted a portable device so I could review audiobooks on something other than my laptop (not a smartphone or tablet guy).

Trouble is, I haven't been able to figure out how to save my place on the audiobook when I want to pause and go listen to some music or a podcast. When I stop the audiobook's playback and come back to it later, it starts at the very beginning and I have to click my way through each chapter until I find the chapter where I left off.

At leasst with my laptop, whether using iTunes, Windows Media Player, or the Audible Manager, I am able to stop the audiobook and it will start where I left off when I come back to it.

If anyone knows if it is possible to save my place while listening on my MP3 players, I would really appreciate some help. I've tried Googling and help forums with no luck on any info one way or the other.

Jan | 532 comments Gef - I just purchased one too! Do you have your books loaded under the music folder or the audiobook folder?

Check out my thread under technical - help with Sansa Clip+

Gef (wagthefox) The Audible Manager automatic transfer put them in the Audiobooks section. I'll go check out your thread. Thanks for the heads-up.

Jan | 532 comments If they are in the audiobook section than it should remember where you left off - at least that is what I have been told but I haven't had enough experience to know for sure.

John | 3917 comments Are you sure you have a Clip+ and not a Clip Zip? I ask as the Plus was discontinued at least a year or so ago.
