ABANDONED. Young Readers involves turning to a Jade Golem

I remember reading this book in middle school, but I can't remember what the title is!
-The main characters brother is turning into a Jade golem
-This is significant because there are no other Jade golems so other golems are looking for him
-I think Jade guys girlfriend was there too?
-They stay in a gingerbread house in the 1st or 2nd chapter
-There's a 6 fingered fae woman with butterflies helping the golems looking for Jade character but they don't like her
-I think shes kinda into the main character

Any help would be appreciated!!
