where I come from nobody even knows that THG is a book & I had just seen the movie -which I thought it was just ok. then I came to the US & randomly picked the book from a box in an english class.. the rest is history
now I'm one of those who re-reads the books & watch the movie & trailers a 100 times
oops... just started reading again, I couldn't help it
Hi my name is Allison or Alli. I'm from Maryland. Since I read The Mortal Instruments, The Bane Chronicles, Infernal Devices and Divergent series I needed something else. Unfortunately for me I saw the movie first and have to say that I prefer the book much more than the movie. Too much left out IMO. But I still am looking forward to Catching Fire and hopefully they will stay as close to the book as possible. :D
Hey I'm Powla I'm from AZ.I read hunger games waaaay back in 8th grade, and I loved the 2nd one hated the end of the third tho so sad.
Nice to meet everyone!
Hi, I'm Beth from Australia.I read the Percy Jackson series and wanted something else to read, so I took my friend's advice and read The Hunger Games. I loved the 1st and 2nd and the 1st half of the 3rd, but hated the 2nd half cause my favourite character died.
So yeah!
Hey guys I'm Alia all the way from Malaysia. I started reading THG because of the movie but the books were definitely a lot better. Catching Fire is my favourite out of the three and i really think the movie did the book justice. My favourite character has got to be Finnick Odair (ahhh just love him <3)
So I'm really looking forward to meeting all you fellow tributes. Cant wait to fangirl with you guy :D

im tris,my sister introduced me to the hunger games ( i actually stole it from her room and read it in my closet ) was totally hooked, one of the best book series ever written, if i had kids their names would be katniss and peeta!!!!!!!!
I'm Ceridwen but you can call me Ceri. I love the Hunger Games books and movies. I'm sort of a late comer to the fandom because I didn't think I would like a series about "kids killing each other." How wrong I was! After much persuasion from friends I finally decided to give the first book a shot and I was hooked from the first chapter. The series is MUCH more than about a "bunch of kids killing each other." It's a about life in a dystopia where young people are forced against their will to fight to the death for the entertainment of those in power. Its about life under a horrible totalitarian dictatorship and the eventual rebellion against tyranny. Oh! And did I mention I"m definitely Team Peeta.

Usually books with this sorta gore dont really appeal to me, but the book is much more than that. Its a story about loyalty and perserverance as well. I am actually team Gale. Until he killed Prim.
Hi I'm Sarah and I joined very recently. I had never heard about the Hunger Games before one of my school friends ambushed me and literally forced the book into my hands. At first I was a bit sceptical but after reading the first chapter, I'm surprised I gave her the book back! Anyway I now own the whole trilogy. My favourite part in the first book is probably when Katniss realises that I wasn't Peeta who died from the berries but Foxface. I liked it because despite whatever else Katniss said it showed that in some ways she actually does care for Peeta.
Hi i'm Rachel my uncle read the books and told me about them I don't think I can pick a favorite part
Hi! I am Aarja!! I found out Hunger Games because a friend, exactly like me, introduced it to me this year! I am not bragging or anything, but I read it 2 times, and she is still on her 1st time read of Catching Fire. I have many favorite parts, and I love Peeta! I don't think Gale is good for Catnip......
Hello, just started this series again. Last time I read it was in high school over 12 years ago. I’m looking forward to reading it all again then finally getting around to The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes. I received that book after preordering it and still have yet to read it lol. But with the movie coming out next year, figured it was time to finally get around to.
Hi, I'm Rylee!I first read Hunger Games in middle school and I fell in love with the dystopian future genre of literature. My favorite part in the overall series is not a specific part, but rather an idea. It is the idea that Katniss and Peeta are willing to do anything to save each other.
I’m Kate and I love these books. They are the first books that I really got sucked into and what started my obsession of reading. Still a new reader but I just love to read now.
i heard of them somewhere bc you know they're famous and eventually i just read themnow i am anxiously waiting for book 5
