Trying to remember what my original impressions were during my first reading...I don't think I pinged on Mina being anything but a self-absorbed, spoiled rich girl who didn't like her more well-liked sister.
I became suspicious immediately because her "distraught" was feigned from the onset as described by Sarah. She didn't seem to be bothered at all. That just put her on my radar.
She made me suspicious for the same reason, Jonetta. She was just pretending to be upset. And she was more worried about the family jewels than the murder of her sister.
Her entire attitude was off-putting and I knew there was something wrong in that house from the start
She was definitely suspicious and I was sure she was hiding something, but I didn't think she was the one that actually killed her.
She definitely seem to act not like someone who lost a family member. But I didn't think at the time that she was the one that killed her.
