Kinds of Magic

Every person born in Elysia possesses magic - at least in amounts sufficient to do some useful work out of it. There are people that can wield more powerful magic through proper training god practice. However, only magic will not let you go anywhere. They can only do minimum chores with their magic, and most certainly cannot defeat an entire army, or bring down a wall, or magically build a house. Most of them can only possess one kind of magic (unless permitted by a moderator upon request) There are, however, a few that possess more than one kind of magic, but even then, one kind will be dominant and the other cannot be used as well as the dominant.

It'd be cool if there was rune magic, like those of Elven heritage could possess the ability to use runes and create them.

What is the difference between wind and air magic?

Well, air magic is supposed to be manipulating air whereas wind magic is creating wind having large force.

Question: Cuz I'm a geek, I like to call things by their *proper* names, so would it be a problem if I called shadow magic nethermancy, or lightning mages fulgermancers?

Well, while I'm also pretty keen on calling things by their *proper* names, I thought it would be easier for people who are new to this kind of concept to understand 'Shadow magic' or 'Lightning magic'. Therefore, I recommend the same because not everyone will know the right terms and if they don't, they'll keep blinking at their screen thinking what on earth nethermancy is :)
