Christopher | 4 comments Hello, this is my first post. Sorry to anyone including moderators if I bumbled this post.

This book, I believe in is in a trilogy. It's a fantasy/adult fiction and the only details I can remember in great detail is that there was a war going on. The biggest thing that caught my attention was the weaponry. One side of the war was extremely dominant because of their smithing technique on swords. To make the swords stronger they would "fold" the steel/iron "7+" times. It made the durability and sharpness of the weapon to godlike. I believe the books were published in the late 90s to middle 00s because I read them in middle school around 2007/08, however I could be wrong on the publishing.
Thank you for any effort and responses, you people are great.

Welcome Christopher. Can you describe the setting - medieval-type fantasy, historical Earth, Asian, steampunk, etc.? What are the fantasy elements (e.g., magic, demons)?

What do you remember about the main character(s) and their goals (e.g., male/female, soldier, royalty, politician, team, fantastical creature)?

Christopher | 4 comments Medieval would be my best guess.
I believe the main characters were simple folk trying to fight/survive the invading forces. I can't really recall too much, unfortunately. The thing I remember the most is the way they forged their blades with that folding technique. I know it's not much to go on and I'm sorry about that.
