Graeme Rodaughan Hi All,

Open Question, I have the ability to turn on "X-Ray," for my Amazon Kindle books - is this a good idea or not?

Philip (phenweb) I have started for one of my books - there is a lot more work involved then just switching it on. The scan of characters and places will get things wrong. Names and places are confused especially if characters have different names e.g. Joe or Joseph or Joe Bloggs or Bloggs depending on context.

So far it has taken quite a bit of time and like all these things it's time spent not writing so I still have not completed a single book. Something to try and continue this weekend.

I remain unconvinced that it ill add to sales in anyway

Graeme Rodaughan Thanks Philip,

That's good to know.

Ian Miller | 1857 comments As I mentioned in another thread on this subject, I have done half of my books, and I have no idea what benefit I shall get. It is certainly time consuming. It does permit a certain level of explanation, but I feel you have to be careful as an author not to start preaching your messages. So far I have not bough a kindle book with this in it, so I do not know what happens from the reader's perspective.

Justin (justinbienvenue) I have a hard enough time using keywords outside of my book to get people interested nevermind the ones already inside.
