LOVE Sarah J Maas! Still have to read Court of Wings and Ruin.

Mika Michelle I finished It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover which I absolutely LOVED!!!! 5/5.... I normally don’t like romance books like that, but I was surprisingly invested and loved the storyline. This reading romance for Feb worked out..lol..
Next I read The Book of Speculation by Erika Swyler 2/5.... This book was so not for me. It bored me out of my mind. I finished it for a book club meeeting tomorrow.

Now its time to finish out Feb with When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon , Without Merit by Colleen Hoover , The Rogue Queen (The Hundredth Queen, #3) by Emily R. King , An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson , and The Shadow Throne (The Ascendance Trilogy, #3) by Jennifer A. Nielsen .

Jenny (juliababyjen) | 1075 comments I also loved It Ends with Us! So glad you're enjoying your romance reads, I am too for the most part!

message 204: by Mika Michelle (new)

Mika Michelle It was an awesome suggestion. I’m glad because I realized I like the romance genre. I will have to start incorporating some into my monthly readings. Thank you for that

Glad you liked It Ends With Us.. For me it was just meh But I started with her first standalone Hopeless (Hopeless, #1) by Colleen Hoover Which I still think is her best work yet! and then Confess by Colleen Hoover her two best books to date for me. Colleen use to be a Social Worker and these two books are on the darker shady part of life but for me thats what made them so good.

When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon was a cute story but also touched on some real issues. 4/5 from me

Victoria | 259 comments I finished The Cruel Prince (The Folk of the Air, #1) by Holly Black and enjoyed it so much more than I thought I would. I just hate when I start a trilogy so early on and have to wait for each new one... Now I am reading All the Crooked Saints by Maggie Stiefvater and although it is a bit strange and slow, and nothing like what I expected, I have found myself getting drawn in and I think I like it, not completely sold on it, but getting there...haha

Mika Michelle Finished: When Dimple Met Rishi by Sandhya Menon 3/5, and Without Merit by Colleen Hoover 3/5. Both books were good and hit on serious issues but they just weren't for me.

I'm reading An Enchantment of Ravens by Margaret Rogerson and so far I'm not liking it. it's boring me.

Laura (llbasaldua) | 790 comments Reading The Black Witch (The Black Witch Chronicles, #1) by Laurie Forest About 1/2 through and I must say Im really enjoying it !!

Why this book got so much crap on being racist and so on and on and on Is just dumb! People are bringing to much real World issues into a fantasy world where it dont belong! To say this book was racist/feminist/degrading/ homophobic and any other phobics is BS!! To say all this would to say it about ANY fantasy book out there .

Its a bit Harry Potter -Ish kinda not really but does take place at a Magic boarding school and there are many different "races" rather Fae , Demon , Werewolf, Ogre and so on with different kinds of magic but not everyone has magic.

I totally agree. Yeah the book deals with social issues but not in an offensive way. And if all books were totally 100% PC with no character being offensive or having any flaws then reading would be heck of boring. I feel bad for the author. It feels like she got targeted for no good reason. And I'm generally considered pretty liberal.

message 217: by Sana (new)

Sana Zameer (sanazameer) Finished Refugee (The Captive, #3) by Erica Stevens Salvation (The Captive, #4) by Erica Stevens and First & Forever (The Crescent Chronicles, #4) by Alyssa Rose Ivy last book of Crescent Chronicles.

Hey everyone, hope you are all doing well...I've been reading a lot of non-fiction at the moment and it may be like that for some time as I am starting my university degree this year online...eeeppppp it's going to be full on and just another crazy thing to add to my already busy life but I'm hoping it will be most rewarding. So right now I'm still reading NeuroTribes The Legacy of Autism and How to Think Smarter About People Who Think Differently by Steve Silberman The Wisdom of Sundays Life-Changing Insights from Super Soul Conversations by Oprah Winfrey Bad Feminist by Roxane Gay Communication Skills Toolkit Unlocking The Secrets Of Tertiary Success by Jane Grellier - textbooks are always fun lol

The Dark Calling (The Arcana Chronicles, #5) by Kresley Coleis so good. The end really does make sense. But I have no idea how Cole is going to pull off the end end in the last book. Usually I know who I like best in a love triangle, but in this series I love them both!!!

Teresa | 606 comments I finished Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell today. It's sort of hard for me to decide what I thought about it. Jenny (juliababyjen) | 1075 comments I recently finished:

Stay with Me (Wait for You, #3) by J. Lynn and I think this is my favorite of the series so far. 4 stars

The Proposal (Wait for You, #2.5) by J. Lynn which was such a sweet short story! 4 stars

Kissing in Italian (Flirting in Italian, #2) by Lauren Henderson 3.5 stars. I liked the conclusion to this one

Next I'm reading Geekerella by Ashley Poston and rereading A Wrinkle in Time (A Wrinkle in Time Quintet, #1) by Madeleine L'Engle

I thought it was good. I have learned not to read reviews until after I am done so that I am not influenced by other people's opinions. I tend to like things others don't and not like the ones that everyone else is raving about :D

yep, I finished it and I am on the fence. I gave it 4 stars ( really a 3 and a half) because I found myself getting into it, but then there were parts that just aggravated me, and it was so slow. I like her writing style and her descriptions and that part was there, but the actual story line fell kind of flat. I just don't know how I feel about it quite yet.. definitely not my favorite by her.

I did finished Geekerella by Ashley Poston solid 4 star read, so cute! And a great book about fandoms in general :)

Also finished my reread of A Wrinkle in Time (A Wrinkle in Time Quintet, #1) by Madeleine L'Engle 5 stars, I just adore this story (the whole quintet is awesome, it gets so much better with each book!)
