Bio missing when using Goodreads app

When I use my laptop to log into Goodreads, I can see my Bio. When I use my Goodreads App on my ipad, I click on my photo to get my profile. There is nothing under the "About" tab. When I click on "Tell us about yourself", the Bio section is blank. It seems there is a missing link. What do I have to do for Goodread members using tablets to be able to see my profile?

Justine, can you please try reinstalling the app on your iPad? The bio section should be showing your author information!

Unfortunately, the Goodreads app on both apple and android sucks. It has a lot of bugs and doesn't have a lot of function. That's why I only use goodreads on desktop or using my phone but through chrome and then keeping the "request desktop site" on the upper right tab on.

Hi Justine, the "About" and author "Biography" sections are two separate entities. Even thought your "About" section stands empty, readers navigating to your author profile will see your author profile "Biography" there as follows:



The "About" section is for a regular non-author account. As an author, you won't need to use this section, since you've claimed your author profile.

I found a way to do both. I went into Edit my Author Profile. Then the top right corner, there is an option to Edit my User Profile. Clicked on that, and there is a whole box labelled "About" for me to fill. I pasted my Author Bio in there, and now I can see it on the Goodreads App.
