Yeah. It's more a list of 'things I want to read but will have to wait next year to get to because I already have so many series on my plate right now' xDBut yeah... Basically, I planned the rest of my reading year (well, with a few mood reads, probably) with the following rules:
- hold on for dear life and try to follow my BR schedule
- squeeze as many books from the series I'm reading solo when (if) I have time
- should I finish all the aforementioned series (lol), read standalones/anthologies just to say I got to 0 open series
EDIT: Now, I'm mentally counting the series on my 2019 list and realizing there's TOO MUCH x) I'm thinking of making a shelf with the first in series, so I'll give you the link once it's done.

I did the same kind of planning in late 2017 for what series I was going to read this year and by mid year I was stressed out. For next year I am determined to not schedule anything more than a month or two ahead of time. I think I'll look at the planned buddy reads for this group at the beginning of each month and make my decisions then. It'll leave me lots more time for impulse reads, which I have really missed this year, and means I won't be breaking any commitments. I think it'll make me a lot calmer.
Mmmh. You're right, it will probably stress me. So I voluntarily put on that shelf more series than I can finish in one year (30 for now), and will consider it a high priority shelf.It's mostly completed series, and I made sure all of the books are available one way or another (owned, owned by neighboors, library, etc.). It'll help me to pick series once I finish one, instead of browsing my TBR for hours x)
I went through a phase this year where I was overscheduled and stressed so much that reading felt like an obligation. Now, I've made peace with the fact that I cannot read everything all at once, and that the good series will come up again as buddy-reads eventually.

Yup, I created the shelf immediately after commenting. I was simply waiting for it to 'stabilize' before telling you x)
(and by that, I mean I'm trying to dial down the crazy and stop adding and removing stuff from that shelf 5 times a day :p)

Lol Zaara (guess I am already laughing a you 😋) but to be fair I have had months where a planned TBR has encouraged me to read faster but now that it is every month with no room for last minute whims it gets constricting...

This is throwing a wrench in my 0-open-series challenge for 2018 BUT I'm thinking I can create a wonderful little 'on-hold' category just for that. You know, just to sweep the problem under the carpet, and dump the whole thing out the window for good measure ;)

Well they had this huge desk of Penguin Clothbound Classics when I was in London and I just couldn't not buy one! If I had the money I would get the whole collection to look nice on my shelves (unfortunately I'm a broke student so I have only 5 so far but I'm still drooling over pictures of the whole collection every other day or so 😅)

Yes, that's exactly my problem! 😂 While knitting something easy and straight (like a scarf) plus reading works for me sometimes. But its not perfect. But luckily there're audiobooks!
