I didn't know that. That's pretty cool!

I believe there are only two possibilities with a book by Mieville: either you love it or you don't like it at all. I loved Perdido Street Station and the Scar but dnf'd Iron Council, so I understand you guys :)
In case you want to try it again, I'd recommend the Scar as it's more accessible.

I'm going to wait awhile... I have other (less) weird authors I like better that I need to finish... like A. Lee Martinez
I read

has been lurking in the back of my mind since I discovered it's existence, for the blurb alone...

Yeah, I figured he's one of those authors... I'll probably give his work another try but not in the near future - too many things to read :O
Thanks for the recommendation though :)

I think it's a really pretty picture, though!

Oh, thanks. I couldn't remember the name of the anime. What does it says about me that I only remember the girl obsessed with food xD

(I know it's my own tracker, but I don't want to bother the few people checking out new posts here - tell me if I overdo it with the pics', ok?)

NEVER!

That's gorgeous. I love the pics you post here.

The armor of the woman in the last one made me chuckle, no need to protect the belly... nothing bad will come from a wound there :D

However we need to balance out these pictures with some masculine pictures and I got just the one

Look upon Captain Americas....big.....breasted?...…..beauty???

I linked the image so you can read it, but I think you get the gist from the facial expressions :)

Omg I just noticed the little shield used for censoring (it's kinda tiny given how well-built he is otherwise) lol

Hahaha!
Female armor in fantasy pictures is often so ridiculous!

My favorite is the third. In my head, the (doomed) guy is me, the treasure my newly acquired books, and the monster in the back my TBR xD
