Yes, I'm ready too. I'll try to start tomorrow but I'll probably make slow progress because I'm currently reading three other books as well.

Have you made any progress with this? I have only read part 1. I had to take a break because I need to finish a couple of books that are due back to library. I hope to get back to this one in a day or two.

So far I like this a lot. I think (view spoiler)[ there is definitely something weird going on at Grizehayes and I can't wait to find out more about it. (hide spoiler)]

I am at chapter 5 and although I'm liking the craziness of this, the writing style kinda puts me off. Especially at the beginning.

I'm at chapter 10 now (view spoiler)[this is getting so creepy. I wish Makepeace's mother had actually told her daughter what was wrong in this place and why she escaped.
Also, just now I'm wondering why Makepeace's mother actually told her to leave. I'm linking this more, but I'm still struggling a little with it. (hide spoiler)]

chapter 20 (view spoiler)[I was sure she was going to be possessed but she will still somehow stay there. Anyways, I'm happy at the turn of events just a little sad for James. (hide spoiler)]

I just finished reading chapter 14.

Yes, it's (view spoiler)[ hard to believe that James would escape without Makepeace. I'm not sure what he's planning but I don't think he's abandoned her. Didn't he say something like "no matter what happens I will come for you" before he escaped? (hide spoiler)]

It's pretty creepy (view spoiler)[ what they're doing at Grizehayes. I mean that ghost thing. Sir Thomas was very nice. I don't think he deserved to become an empty shell. (hide spoiler)]

I really liked Sir Thomas, I wished he had been able to finish the thing he was about to tell her.
It's indeed pretty creepy, imagine having the obligatory sexual interactions with their partners and being like the seven ghosts there. I find it so weird. Also, like don't they tire of living so many years? This is just so weird. (hide spoiler)]

Chapter 29 (view spoiler)[ This Morgan is really getting on my nerves.
And I find so rushed that from not wanting to be possessed, suddenly she acquires two new ghosts. But still, it's great to see all of this interactions.
I'm still liking this a lot, but the writing style still doesn't convince me. (hide spoiler)]

I've finished. That was a wild ride, I really liked it and I can't wait to hear what you think of it!

Finally reached 30 chapters.

I also find it a little (view spoiler)[ that Makepeace takes all these ghosts inside her even though she's fighting so hard not to be possessed by the Felmottes. Maybe it's just a matter of getting to choose whose ghosts she has inside her. (hide spoiler)]

I have no idea how (view spoiler)[ Makepeace will save James but I do have a feeling she will succeed. Maybe she will somehow succeed in making the Felmotte ghosts doubt their right to take over other people's bodies. (hide spoiler)]

Mm, I was also interested by the idea that ghosts entered so easily because they had no doubt. (hide spoiler)]

I quite liked this book. It never got dull but some things felt a little bit rushed to me. For example, (view spoiler)[ I don't know why but I feel like saving James was a little too easy in the end. I mean, most of the people who inherited had their spirits crushed. It's a little weird that James was totally fine when the Felmotte spirits left him. Overall, this was a nice read though, and the small details didn't bother me too much. (hide spoiler)]
