If you enjoy fiction set in a very realistic police milieu and can appreciate a straight-shooting lady as an action heroine even if she doesn't draw her gun on every other page, and if you don't see any of the content issues mentioned in my review (https://www.goodreads.com/review/show... ) as deal breakers, you should consider checking out
Ro's Handle, by our own Dave Lager. It's the opener for a projected series about a (female) champion competitive shooter who becomes a sherif's deputy.

I just wanted to share with everyone that I've started publishing a new novella one chapter a week in my blog, like they used to do in the pulp magazines: It's called "Sniper's Day." While the major action heroine in my Ro Delahanty Novels is not physically present in the novella, she DOES play a very significant role in shaping the actions and fate of the book's central character.
