It's the opener for a projected series about a (female) champion competitive shooter who becomes a sherif's deputy.

I just wanted to share with everyone that I've started publishing a new novella one chapter a week in my blog, like they used to do in the pulp magazines: It's called "Sniper's Day." While the major action heroine in my Ro Delahanty Novels is not physically present in the novella, she DOES play a very significant role in shaping the actions and fate of the book's central character.
