Maddie seems to be annoyed at Harry when previously their relationship was more harmonious? What happened? Teenage behavior or something else?

Maddie needs smacked sometimes. Her attitude toward Harry helping out the defense because he felt Foster was innocent was very annoying. While she was whining about Harry helping put a murderer on the street, Harry could have asked what she would do if he were put in jail for a murder and she was sure he didn't do it.

Her behavior was out of character. I’m used to Mickey’s daughter, Hayley, judging him, primarily because of her mother’s job where she feels she’s got to make a choice. But not so with Maddie. Maybe she’s had him on a pedestal and she’s dealing with disappointment. Whatever it is, I think Connelly owed us an explanation.

Maybe Maddie is being brainwashed by Hayley. They're probably talking on the phone a lot about their planned apartment at college.
