SOLVED. Thriller/Suspense: Man finds letter reading "confess what you have done". [s]

I read the description of this book and now I can remember the title. The synopsis is that a man found a letter in his mailbox (at the office?) but it was supposed to go to someone else. The letter read something like "Confess what you have done or your finished". The person the letter was supposed to go to was brutally murdered just the day before. The man continues to find more letters in his box that should go to others and soon the killer is aware the man is trying to stop the people being killed.

The book is very recent. I believe it was written in the last couple years. Anyone? Thanks in advance.
