ABANDONED. Children's book about six boys with different problems in their families. They hang out and steal money once

I read this when I was in 5th grade (2012??) in a library. Obviously the book is older than me. I think one of the boys have a problem with his singe mother because her mother does not appreciate his good deeds and notice only his mistake? One is from a big family and he is the only boy. The two are problematic kids who lives in a secret place or something. The book is children's as I remembered reading it with ease back then. I remembered they stole a wallet with lots of cash and got in a trouble with the police.
