Mini Challenge - ..."
Will do. I appreciate you looking for ways they fit though! It's very helpful!

Just a quick note. Now that the mini challenge is going on, when you post a completion post, please let me know if you started that book after the mini challenge started and therefore the book is eligible to be placed in the mini challenge. You don't have to look for connections if you don't want to (though it is very helpful!) but please just let me know when it is eligible so I can look into where it can fit as needed. Thanks for all your help :) and keep up the good work! We are doing so well this month!

I am from Team Milky Way and just completed The Raven Boys which was recommended by your team. I have to admit, that at first I wasn't really getting pulled in and was afraid that I would not like the book, however, I gave it some more time with an open mind and somewhere about mid way it started picking up for me. Ended up enjoying the book overall and will try more in the series! Thanks for the recommendation!

No worries! GR is definitely not app-friendly, but I can still read it all!
Quick question though -- was Francis the first or last name? Or I saw on the page that there was a character named Christopher John Francis Boone -- is that the Francis to which you were referring? If so, not sure if that'd be counting for the middle name and if that's allowed, but I can ask. But, it looks like there is a character named Ed ... so it can count as WD4 either way, just may dupe our 8 Red instead of 4 Red!

I was counting the middle name of the main character, sorry, I thought that counted! But there is an Ed, yes, so Red 8 would work, didn't see that one

No worries! I have put it as a WD4 for 8 Red, but I will ask so we know for future reference. I know they have said middle initials for authors don't work. But, they are a little more flexible with character names (for example, "nicknames" work for character names) so maybe it could.

I can't believe it, team! Only February 20, and we have finished all our hands! Last year was my first year doing UNO, and the team I was on never finished all hands any month, so I am pretty excited right now! Thank you to all of you!
But, we still have some room left in the mini challenge! Right now we have 25 spots that we can fill. So -- if you finish a book that you have started after the challenge began on Feb. 14, please still post it here! You don't have to let me know what cards it will fit since the hands are full, but if you know a way it can fit into the mini challenge, post that info. If you don't want to look for a connection, you can just post the book here and I will try my best to find a fit.
We are currently ranked in 4th place, which is incredible!
Unfortunately, we had a lot of Draw 2 cards this month...which is great for getting the most out of the books we read, but not so great for total points, since they count for 0, instead of the 20-30 we could get per card. So, the mini challenge points are where the difference comes in for us!
Keep up the good work :)

Btw, unfortunately, I most likely won't be able to read anything else at least until the end of this week, but The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time does fit for the mini challenge, started it the 15th.

I have also read two other books so will see if I can make them work for part 2

I have also read two o..."
Great! I'll get that added. Did you happen to leave a comment on their thread that I can link to?

Kaley, if there is a better fit for my books in the mini challenge, please change them. I don't want to do too many so that others don't have a chance to do what they want.
