I thought that Vaughan had a larger role in the book than he does, so I am not sure it will work. He doesn't have any speaking parts but it is stated that he doesn't "waste words" so I don't think he is much of a talker. Thoughts?

Just thought I'd give us all a little status update:

Regular hands - We've got 12 hands finished, with the exception of Kristel's Red 7 book. We need 12 more books to complete all hands!

Mini-challenge - We've got 27 books/letters completed, and 2 words finished. All of the letters that are worth more are either completed, or have books planned for them. We need 31 more books to complete all the letters, including books that are all ready on the planning sheet. I'll put a few more of mine down on the sheet now, too. If we keep up this pace we'll have it done easily!

I have two more books planned for the rest of the month, The Power of Habit: Why We Do What We Do in Life and Business and O Crime do Padre Amaro. I was thinking about using “O crime do padre Amaro” for the yellow 0 spot instead of “The power of habit”. This way I could leave the latter for the next month and read one that could be used for the mini challenge. Turns out the color extraction tool tells me that the cover is green, which it is not! My eyes see yellow everytime! :) can we use it for yellow 0 then?

Currently at 14th place. Once the last 2 books are finished for the hands, we'll have an additional 90 points. Plus there's nearly 200 points for the mini-challenge that we haven't earned/reported yet. So if we finish everything, we'll be in at least the top 10 overall. It's definitely worth pushing to finish them all!

I'll finish mine. Can those 3 pixie books be used for the mini challenge? If so, that would take care of the last two we need (assuming everyone can finish their other ones). It's good to know. I'm saving my next book for April, but if need be I could push myself to get it done in March.

Yes, Pixie's books can be used for the mini-challenge. They have added books after March 14 for that purpose.
