It was pretty scary! I am hoping that I just accidentally poisoned him, as bad as that sounds lol. I had some scented wall plugs and an oil lamp going. Maybe he got into that. He is doing so much better now that, thank you :-)

I know it looks like I'm putting an insane amount of books down for myself, but they're almost all re-reads, so they go quick. :)Also, 9 more books completes our regular hands!

Hi Team Kuiper - dropping in from Team Triangulum! Thanks for putting The Others series on your list - I read Etched in Bone. I’ve really enjoyed this series - I found the world and the characters to be a fresh approach in a crowded genre. I have to admit, this book seemed a little anticlimatic as a conclusion, but I still enjoyed it. (Don’t worry - no spoilers here.) I’m looking forward to reading the other Thasia books Bishop writes. Thanks again!

Flexibility is the name of the game! If you have a book that only works one place, but you can find a place that another book goes, feel free to move things around.

Guys! We only need 2 more books for the main hands! It's a 2 & a 6, so probably the next two books finished will complete them!Here's what I have down for everybody for the mini-challenge. If there's something you think you might not finish, just let us know. We have 3 Uno Pixie books available since Chrystal wasn't able to continue playing.

I’m reading At the Waters Edge. Author is Sara Gruen. That should work for six right?If someone reads one before I get done, yay! Not sure if it will work for anything in the mini?

I should be able to do The Hate You Give for Team Tucana, so we'll only need one more book for Ceres. I can't believe the amount of books I have read since we started the challenge! I think this is why I didn't do it the past two years. I become too competitive and end up neglecting everything else that I should be doing. :)

I’ll finish “I’ll give you the sun”, and it will be it for this month. I am seriously busy at work, have sooo many deadlines approaching, plus I am teaching a new course, so yeah. I am keeping the two books I started this month, the one about logic and the other about minimalism, unfinished, and then we can use them in march.

Looks like this would be a good back-up book. With that ocean, and a woman on the cover, it fits in multiple spots where the books are completed yet! :)

It's a sickness! It really is. I went from never having done a team challenge, and only really having done one other challenge to modding a group and creating challenges on my own since that first UNO! :)

It looks like some of the other teams had a better main hand. :( Our only hope of winning is if we complete the mini challenge and they don't.

We can cover all the blues with books already in the planning for next month, so we need to look for the Yellows, the Reds, and the Green.

Sorry to be MIA - we had our first winter championship of the season over the weekend...and I had to take the new kitten to the vet. He was having seizures. It's been a tough 72 hours. All the more reason to escape in a good book! I am about 30% done with Room. Hoping to read a good chunk of it tonight and the rest of the week :-)
