Wow, that was quick. I thought The Hobbit was a 10 hour or more audiobook. I guess there is the abridged version that is shorter.

I thought it was longer too but it was only 4 hours. It says it was the full dramatization as broadcast on National Public radio - not unabridged. I didn't even think of that. I'll have to double check to see if they'll let it pass. I hope so!
I don't see why you couldn't use it. I listened to the audio of The Hobbit as a kid, and I remember it last days of cross country driving as we went out to Grand Canyon. It was great.
I hope so. I'm such a dodo I didn't even think it wasn't the full version of the book until you said something. I was pleasantly surprised when it was that short and I was like well this is moving along swimmingly LOLI haven't read the book since I was a kid and I thought everything from the movie was in there so I didn't realize anything was missing! :D

Hello team Jupiter! I have finally started the Throne of Glass series this year, so I went with Heir of Fire to read from your list :). I wasn't sure what to expect going into this third book because I had seen reviews saying it was a bit slow in the first half. I'm so glad that didn't deter me, though, because I really liked it. I wouldn't say enjoyed necessarily, but I think the depression and grief that you see in the beginning is more true-to-life than these characters who never actually deal with any emotional fallout from what they've been through.
Hope that makes sense, as I'm trying to avoid spoilers! ;)
Thanks for picking this series, I'm really looking forward to the next one!

Annalisa I've put your book in the mini - you can change it if you want. I don't mind at all. This was the first place I noticed it would fit.
We're doing a really great job everyone!!!!Only 8 days left and we have 7 books for the Feb Uno and 27 for the mini. Can we read 27 books in 8 days!!!!! LOL either way we are really kicking butt this month!
Melissa wrote: "Thanks Michelle - I used Grounded for the mini challenge. It looks like you started that on the 19th."Yes, I did.
That would be about 4 books each. I think there are 8 of us still on the team. I'm not sure we can read that many.

Is there a post somewhere that shows what still needs to be covered in the mini challenge? That would be very helpful when picking my next few books. I'm not sure what's been read for yet.
There is a tab on our spreadsheet that shows what is still available.https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/...
This is the TBR recommended thread to choose from.

Elena and Sandy - when you both get a chance can you make sure that all of the books you read for Uno are on your Uno shelf? I'm missing a couple compared to what you posted.Michelle - you have 25 books on your Uno shelf but only 21 are recorded. Are we missing some? Can you double check when you get a chance and let me know what books are missing if any?
Thanks!!
