I have a strange ritual with books. If I really like a series and a new book is releasing soon, I have to read the whole series all over again. So I’m looking up A Court of Thorns and Roses to make sure it will help knock out some cards. Only two names in the series is forever etched in my brain. But I need to double check other names.

Started Stay with Me today - loving it so far.

Hope everyone’s had a nice Monday (or whichever day it was where you are).
I’ve decided to switch over to audiobook for Disaster Artist. Greg Sestero does a great impression of Tommy Wiseau!

I will say I laughed out loud and kept laughing during Lily Tomlin's reading of I Hated Teddy and Teddy Hated Me - I have never heard my name spoken with such loathing and derision so often in such a short period of time - LOL.

I have to say that this is the first audiobook that I've ever listened to. I've always preferred reading the words to listening. I'm definitely impressed by this audiobook though. It gives the words more character :)
Haha that must be funny! I can't say that I have had a similar experience. I'll remember that story when I get around to listening to the book :D

Another few I had fun listening to:

But catching up now :)
Is everyone still with us and are you ready for the next mini challenge?

3-down is Mahjong
7-down is Candy Cane
6-down is Camelot (never heard of it but I Googled it)

2-across is Pandemic
3-across is Squatter
(got those thanks to Google)
I have no idea what 2-down is

3-down is Mahjong
7-down is Candy Cane

I think its Battlestar Galactica, and I think it might be Candy Land - all the verticals are games. I'm thinking about what 2 Down could be. Are horizontals tv shows? I know pandemic is a game as well...
I've updated the MarchMini sheet on our planning doc, and the filled in letters on the sheet image with the letters that we know, filled in. :)
EDIT: ok, they are all games :)

DUH....it is definitely Candy Land (I'm going to blame the mistake on the hour of the morning...lol)

Sorry - I meant 2 down
The updated and filled in graphic is on the MarchMini sheet on our planning doc :)

For the March Mini, we are starting with the shorter words, as they are quicker to our word bonus points.
There are a lot of A's, so keep an eye out for any books that will work - remember for the mini we can also use items on cover:
The letter needs to be the first letter in the book title, author first name or surname, character name or nickname, setting, the first letter in the series name AND you can use cover items on books. Articles (a/an/the) can be ignored in the book titles.
The updated Mini sheet is on out planning doc.

Sadly no. It has to be a single 4 / Four to count :(

Awesome, they are needed :D

Not for the mini challenge, title only

Nice to see you April :)

Not for the mini challenge, title only"
Well, darn.

You didn't think it would be easy did you ;)

At the moment we have 16 cards left to fill, all but one are easy numbers, so I'm not too worried about those. We can always switch books around to make things fit. There is one colour card left to fill but I'm hoping that April read Naked in Death this month, so might have that one covered already.
I don't wan't to give you specifics as I don't know what books April has read, I'd like to have those on the sheet first and then I can make another update.
As for the mini challenge, the most difficult ones we are still looking to fill are something that will fit Q (Title, author, series, item on cover, setting, name/nickname) and 4 in the title. Another U would also be nice.
We still have 24 spots left to fill so we most likely wont be able to comlete that one, but maybe a couple of more words.
