Hi everyone - I see a lot of people dropping review requests, links and so on here and on Facebook. I was wondering how effective that was (I've only picked up two reviews by responding to review threads).
If you're struggling to get the kind of engagement you want, have you considered joining a review circle? There's an excellent one on Goodreads https://www.goodreads.com/topic/group... and I've set up a group on Facebook. So far, I've set up two review circles within 24 hours. The turnaround does depend on the participants but it seems to be working well.

The only thing, Rhian, is I would recommend you send the details of your group and its rules to Amazon to get their direct approval. Generally, they will approve it although sometimes they tweak the rules first. Otherwise you run the risk of being in violation of their TOS. But I belong to a group that did get their approval pretty easily so my understanding is it's not difficult and they're not unreasonable.
