Thanks, Jan! I usually think of bigger brims with cowboy hats although I'm from the Midwest, so not totally familiar with different types of cowboy hats. Although we would like to get out of Illinois and we are hoping to go to Texas (Dallas area).

I finished 40. Cowboy Hat
Turn Coat/Jim Butcher 3/4/18 ★★★★I can take 60. Skull with the next book
Changes/Jim Butchernew item: sword
I finished 62, a ladies hat with
Frontier Grit: The Unlikely True Stories of Daring Pioneer Women 3/2/18 ***. This was really an interesting read.I can take #26 puppy with
. Although Jack is not technically a puppy, he is also described as a brindled bulldog and that dog is definitely not a bulldog; looks more like a terrier. If you'll accept that, the new itemto look for is a train or train station.

Yes, sorry. First I've planned to take another task, but decided against it, and with deleting the rest of the text my message got confusing, sorry! Finished and liked Cards on the Table

I've changed my mind (again) :D and I will take a new task: #37 Apple(s) with Demon Bound by David Parkland
new task: I want for someone to spy the Earth, seen from out of space, not just as globe

LOL...you are allowed to change your mind. That's a tough task Rosa - hope we have some space opera readers out there.
I have faith. Worst case, I think I could take it myself if it's open for too long
I finished #10 - Single rose with Uprooted by Naomi Novik.I can take #15 - Snake with
by Jill Elizabeth Nelson.New Task - A candle, lit or unlit.
Finally finished my book for #50, cover with NO people or animalsIced Under (Maine Clambake #5), by Barbara Ross, finished 3/13 ★★★★
Thanks for the update Barb! I'm not going to accept the bus. If it said vehicle I would have but let's keep looking for the car or truck.
That makes sense :) That's the closest thing I could find to any of my upcoming books, so I'll keep watching the thread.
I finished #15 Snake with Betrayal on the Border by Jill Elizabeth Nelson.I can take #35 - Clothesline with clothes with
by Missy Tippens. New Task - Person in military uniform.
Jan wrote: "Wow Teri! Thanks for taking one of the really hard ones :)"No Problem. I'm enjoying reading these books right now, so I sat down one night with OverDrive and scanned covers. That's how I found the snake, too. Plus it has me reading new authors, which is one of my goals this year. So it's good.
I finished #53 - Cover with something chocolate with
.Does this work for #59 Skyscraper/Tower:
? There is a castle tower in the background.

Making my way through first in series on kindle unlimited trying to find ones I want to continue with.

Great!
New Task: A Calendar or Appointment book
Jan wrote: "I'm reading a bunch of new cozy mysteries too this year. Making my way through first in series on kindle unlimited trying to find ones I want to continue with. ..."Good idea. I realized last year I was rereading so many books, or just reading things by familiar authors, that I wanted to make myself branch out more this year. So far I've found some really good new authors, so it's paying off. I just needed to shake myself out of my comfort zone a bit.
I finished #35 - Clothesline with
by Missy Tippens.I can take #14 - Rainbow, with
by Kathryn Springer.Next Up: Doorway - with or without an actual door showing.
Jan wrote: "Wow Teri! You are practically taking care of the whole list!"I'm on a reading jag. It will slow down at some point, though. :)
I finished #41 - small stream - with
, The Goose Girl by Shannon Hale. Fun listen.I can take #52 - sunglasses - with
, Rosie Colored Glasses by Brianna WolfsonNew item: Let's do a tea kettle or a teapot.
I finished 60. Skull/Jillian
Changes/Jim Butcher 3/19/18 ★★★I think I can take 6. compass with
The Rithmatist/Brandon Sanderson. I think right over the horse is a compass. If that does not work for compass then I can take 63. horse with the mechanical horse (though I have a book with a real horse as plan C : ).new item:
clock
I finished #52 - sunglasses - with
, Rosie Colored Glasses by Brianna Wolfson. Didn't care for it but it was a quick read so I didn't have to invest a whole lot of time in it. I don't have anything that matches right now - I'll keep an eye peeled!
I finished #14 - Rainbow with The Promise of Home by Kathryn Springer. It wasn't that great, but that rainbow helped me out with several challenge tasks, so that's OK. :)I can take #49 - car or truck. I have a couple of books that will work, like
.
or
. I just don't know which one I'll be reading next.New Task Horse-drawn vehicle. (Does not have to have a horse in the picture.)
Thanks Teri-K. I will reserve car or truck for you. But please let me know as soon as you decide which book you will be using so I can add the cover.

I've decided to use
by Gayle Roper for #49. It's starting pretty good. Thanks for your patience. I didn't want to commit to another dud.
