International Women’s Day celebrates women’s achievements throughout the world. Its purpose is to promote women’s equality, encourage support for repressed women and promote appreciation toward women everywhere. The holiday is now recognized internationally and is an Official National Holiday for many countries. It is observed annually on March 8th.
How to Participate:
1.) List all the books you plan to read for this challenge. You can list them now or as you go along. All books must be read during the month of March.
2.) Upon completion of a book: rate it, & date it, strike-through it if you wish but please update your progress as you go along.
3.) You have two options to choose from:
Option 2:
Spell out a real-life heroine’s name using the title, author's first or last name, character, or series name. You may ignore the 'A', 'An', 'The', etc. at the beginning of titles. Example: Jessie (British suffragette):
