ella ☆ any pronouns (bianchibooks) | 0 comments Reading works from authors who aren't well-known or just getting into and starting being published is something I enjoy. I like being able to help those authors out. I normally write honest reviews on whatever I read. If I didn't like it, I'm going to say it, but on the flip, if it's my favorite book, I'm going to say it, so, if I review one of your works, you can expect an honest review with no filters.

I am open to most genres. Chances are, I will accept your request, but there is the slight possibility I will decline, or I will have your review posted later than either a.) expected or b.) wanted. But, like I mentioned above, chances are, that will NOT happen.

If you are interested in having me read & review one of your works, please let me know by leaving a comment below and I will contact you back on it ASAP.

Thank you for wanting me to read & review your book, I really appreciate it!

Gretchen Jeannette | 10 comments Hello Ella. My hat's off to you for supporting fledgling authors, of which I am one. I've authored two historical fiction adventures set during the American War of Independence. Both are stand-alone stories.

The Devil Take Tomorrow, set in and around Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, follows the exploits of a patriot spy charged with thwarting a British-American plot to assassinate General George Washington. The action is intense and continual. Romance softens a brutal background while complimenting the adventure. The Devil Take Tomorrow is a 2017 Readers' Favorite award winner for adventure.

My second novel, A Devil of a Time, takes place in Williamsburg, Virginia at the close of the American Revolution. The story borders on American Gothic, with dark themes, a strong romantic element, and integral violence some readers might find disturbing.

If you're interested in reviewing either book, I'll be glad to forward a copy in whatever format you choose.

Best wishes,

Gretchen

I write adult contemporary romance. If this is your thing, I released a prequel novella in November called Definition of Flawed. If you're still interested in reviewing, please let me know and I'll send you a link.

Thanks

Hi Lea,

I also write adult contemporary romance and I will publish my first book on Amazon as an ebook (95,000 words) within the next few weeks.

I can imagine that Ella is swamped with requests, so would you be inerested in swapping reviews with me instead?

G.F. Makina (gfmakina) | 2 comments Hey Ella. I'm a new author who is in need of honest reviews! I've written an science fantasy/urban fantasy novel. It is called Whispers From a Distant Reality.

Whispers From a Distant Reality

Here is a synopsis:

Fate doesn't exist...at least, that's what Amata Zegarra thought until Gabriella appeared. What does her coming mean? Is it for better? Or does it signify the beginning of a new era for Amata and the planet Seta? Welcome to...Whispers From A Distant Reality! In the fourth millennium, humanity enjoys an era of technological and economic grandeur and galactic dominance. Despite this, there are those that do not reap the benefits of being human. Amata Zegarra is one of them. After facing heart wrenching tragedies and unforgiving school life in the secluded outland societies of the human planet of Seta, Amata receives an opportunity to study and live among the upper class of humanity in the galactic powerhouse city of Hirametros. Everything seems to be going well until she starts hearing chilling whispers in her sleep telling her to distance herself from a fellow classmate, Soren Martel. Join Amata on her first supernatural adventure. Explore the terrifying mysteries of humanity's past, Amata's extraordinary abilities, and meet the many bizarre characters inhabiting this chaotic city and those attending the upper class high school of Hedrich Academy.

PM me or send me an email at gfmakina@gmail.com for more information or for the files themselves.

I hope that if you do end up reviewing it, that you enjoy it!

Hi Ella! It would mean a lot for you to read and review my book, Pyrite. You said that you usually enjoy reading most genres but if you'd like a little history on my young adult fiction book, here it is-

Twin girls Anya and Ava were separated when they were ten years old after their family was split apart. While Ava went with their mother and mother's boyfriend to live a privileged life in Connecticut, Anya was left with her depressed father in Philadelphia. Years later, Ava reaches out to her sister when she lands herself into some trouble. Anya on the other hand, finds herself involved in a murderous crime and takes her sister up on the offer to meet. The catch? Ava doesn't show. Instead, Anya is forced to take her sister's place to cover up Ava's disappearance. How long can Anya keep up the role as her sister and will it be enough to run from her past?

My email is bkitchen0408@starkstate.net. Email me or message me if you're interested!

I can send you a free PDF, if you'd like?
And yes, I could also read Behind Our Walls, if that's available.

message 27: by [deleted user] (new)

Could you also send it as a docx file? I use an old Kindle that doesn't handle pdf too well. In which format would you like "Behind our Walls"?

Do you have any specific review points?

message 28: by Brandon (new)

Brandon Kitchen | 11 comments Yes, I can send it as a docx file. And for me, PDF will work just fine.
I don't have any specific review points, just as long as you're positive. Even if you didn't enjoy it, positivity is key in my book. What about you?

message 29: by [deleted user] (new)

Yes, same for me. Should I not enjoy your book at all - which I don't believe :) - I would tell you.

I will send you my file. Unfortunately, even with the settings on "minimal size" it turned out to be 12 MB :/ I hope that is not a problem. My email is germerican728@web.de

Got it and just forwarded it to my Kindle and will start reading tonight. I'm excited :)

John Meszaros | 5 comments Hey Ella,
I like you’re thinking here. I’ve been reading and reviewing a lot of Indie books myself to find and promote obscure books.

My own book, At Yomi’s Gate, is a fantasy set in medieval Japan. Although it doesn’t look like fantasy is a genre you typically read, you might enjoy my book since it’s focused primarily on character interactions.

If you’re interested, I can supply a copy any way you’d like. ePub, pdf, mobi, paperback. Whatever works for you.

Rovi | 3 comments Hi Cleo! Thank you for helping new authors. I have a book that is out on Amazon now and would really appreciate if you can leave an honest review. The book's link on Amazon is https://www.amazon.com/Pragmatists-Gu...

I have a pdf file of the book. Let me know if you want me to email them. :)

message 35: by [deleted user] (new)

Hi Rovi,

I'm afraid I don't read non-fiction since I cannot concentrate on it. Novels are, literally, a whole different story. If you have something for me there, let me know.

message 36: by Rovi (new)

Rovi | 3 comments No problem. Maybe next time. Thank you! :)

My thriller, Dark Water, was published last August but I had a stroke two weeks later so am only now able to start promoting it.
I am new to Goodreads so am not familiar with the way I should go about asking for reviews. I can email the word doc version to anyone interested. Thank you.

My novel, DOUBLE BLUFF, is currently free on the Kindle for the next three days, and I'd love to hear your opinion! It's a YA LGBT themed novel, full of strong female characters and light, funny moments. If the promotion has expired and you're still interested, I would be happy to send you a PDF copy!

Thank you for your time, I hope you'll be interested in reviewing my novel!

Nick Keller (nick74) | 5 comments Ella, if you're still looking for "new author" material to review, would you consider being a Beta reader, in which your input might directly affect the novel before it's published? I have a 65k word light-hearted, action packed sci-fi/action/adventure needing some thoughtful input. Would you be interested?

If so, simply respond here or email me at nick@nickkellerbooks.com.

I'm sending my Beta team copies out on June 1st and requesting input back by June 10th. Thanks a million!

Nick
