Blood of the Mantis - Felt a bit more rushed and more of a set up for the next book but was still a great read. Very interesting world.

Salute the Dark - Started slow and wasn't sure where it was headed, but the final 3rd of the book was a roller coaster of emotions. Very interested to see where it goes from here.
Lux - hmmmmmmmmmmm Most of it is really good, but some of it felt off. I assume that is because of the dual authors. Interesting powers and epics and overall a decent story. Main characters felt a little flat. Still a good read.
The Scarab Path - Ok wow, that was awesome. I think it really benefited from the tighter focus (4 POV and 1 location) and I am glad we finally get to see more of the mystical side of the world. The world building is again top notch and such a unique setting. Looking forward to book 6.
