I read this before, but it was so long ago, I barely remember it. I'm currently just starting my last Author-of-the-Month read, but I feel challenged to read them at the same time! I've actually never done that before.
Umm... Okay, so my face is leaking tears at 3%. Somehow in the last few days I had forgotten that this book started with a school shooting. I really don't know if I can read this part, you guys (as a teacher, reading about school shootings hits just a little too close to home).Someone PLEASE tell me this part is over quickly! And I wouldn't mind a little hand holding and snuggling, either.

That part is done quickly but there's a lot do with it throughout the rest of the book.

Catherine, everytime there is a scene hospital I feel it close to home, too xD. I thought the same yesterday: going out to the hospital before lunch (here in Spain that's around 3pm) and getting into the hospital after lunch. Guess my life will be like that xD. That's why I chose that photo profile :P. The book itself... I can't feel that much for the MC. The sex is a little off for me :S. I've read 30%, maybe that changes...

Sheziss --- Glad to know it's not just me being sensitive about this type of thing. I know a few people who DNF'd around 30% (or put on *cough* long-term hold), but everyone else seems to have given it 5 stars, so I'm going to press on.For the record, this Brandt guy makes me want to take a scalding hot shower.
Lots of DNFs? I don't like that... :SI hate Brandt, plain and simple. He's like the bad stepmother in the tale. I'm with Kyle, I don't trust him.

I find myself drawn into this couple once again and I'm glad it's not one of those "I loved this when I first read it but now I hate it" type of books. I like that they're an established couple...there'll be lots of ways for you guys to see how they fell in love throughout the book.Brandt is an asshole plain and simple.

These guys are struggling, but they're struggling because they love each other and are havng trouble adjusting to their new reality and are worried about each other and giving the other person what they want/need more than anything else.
I'm about 1/2 way done and need to take a breather to start my 2nd BR of the weekend for Road of No Return -- M/M BIKERS!!! YUM. I'll keep checking in on this discussion though. Have fuuuuuun!
Good luck with the bikers! That book got positive reviews! Looks better than the SE Jakes one...I'm sorry guys. I really got distracted by Teen Wolf. I got to the part where Derek is in Stiles room with Danny!!! (view spoiler) I love Derek so much now. He needs hugs. And blowjobs. XD
And that's not a good sign for this book. XP

The Jakes M/M biker book was not awesome, then took a distinctly dumb PNR turn at the end of the book outta freaking NOWHERE. Ugh.
But this one is MUCH darker, more violent, and hotter than that. I feel like I'm a gay version of Sons of Anarchy. ;)

I don't feel bad then because I haven't been able to read at all today. I am so glad tomorrow is my friday, then I can read my heart's content. :)
