I'll wait until I finish the book to completely decide the genre I guess
The first line of my book is, "Once upon a time there were two friends with two minds, two very different minds, and they longed for adventure."
And it starts as like a manuscript for a tape but the conversation looks one sided until the end
I think I might post my writing on Goodreads like on the where you can create like a writing thing and then it's on your profile but I don't know if I should wait for it to be finished or not

I want to tell you why but that's a spoiler and I kinda want you guys to read it and figure out why ahhh
I feel like I'm not going to finish this story this month, like the rough draft.
This book is different from every other book I've tried to write

My novel is about a narrator's deep thinking on their own mental illness and how it affects the people around them. It speaks of their deepest fears and wishes. It shows one's inner conflicts, and takes how a person is their own worst enemy to a different level. It's also an adventure of two friends who have planned their entire future's together. The friends are trying to battle their own struggles while also try to be there for each other. It also talks about fate and like everyone is given a certain fate when they turn a certain age and it shows how society tends to act to new and different things that showcase a need for change.
