How do you breathe when the worst of you constantly resurfaces? It’s like no matter what you do, no matter how hard you try, there’s a part of you that’s breaking. You’ve gotten so used to belittling and gaslighting yourself that you don’t recognize how much of it’s true. You have nightmares every single night in which you wake up engulfed with panic and uncertainty because you forget that you got out. You forget that you’re an adult now who has their own life, and you don’t need to feel so small. You know that there are people worse than her out there, but she’s the one who hurt you, who left you feeling invisible and small and so afraid. Nobody should have to feel that way and you know that now but it’s not enough.
I feel like I'm still a kid trying to be okay in hopes everyone around me will also be okay
so fucking naive, after all this time.
I just feel really sad and like I'm not supposed to be here
i don't want to be here anymore but i'm too worn out to give a shit
I feel so tired, so drained, so sick, so upset
and I don't know what I'm doing with my life
like why I'm in college when all I can think is that I'm tired and don't want to do this shit anymore
I think it's supposed to be a distraction but I feel numb
is it possible to be both sad and numb because that's my current mood
