hey, i'm sorry if this is weird for a stranger to just comment on here but i have some journaling advice???
it gets bad for me sometimes (i do it mostly in a physical journal) and when that happens i usually try to write about good things or random stuff or nothing at all so that the journal doesn't become the thing that is just for venting.

Also I totally get and appreciate what you're saying, so thank you for it.
While I do mostly vent here, I do have a physical journal and I'm just not supposed to be journaling because anything could potentially trigger me, even if I'm writing about good things. It can give me a memory and trigger my PTSD and that's what my therapist is worried about I think.
It does help though to remind me to focus on positive things so thank you.
