A monster is someone who commits evil acts and who doesn't feel any remorse or guilt about it. They're self-absorbed and cruel. They're the kind that wants to watch the world burn, even if they burn along with, just for the sake of getting whatever it is they want done done. They don't care about anybody else, they feel no empathy. They destroy families. They destroy homes. They leave towns in ruins. Some are killers, and some are predators in a different way. They attack when you're least expecting. If you're lucky, they kill you. If not, they leave you with scars. Sometimes the monster is your next door neighbor, or a parent. Sometimes it's your best friend, and other times, the monster is you.
Everybody meets a monster. Most of the time that monster ends up being someone you knew, or that you had at the very least thought you knew. Sometimes you just have to convince yourself they're dead in order to get through the day. This type of person or thing, depending on circumstances, is a monster because they don't have good moral values and they hurt people just for the sake of hurting them.
