EXACTLY THIS!!!!
and not only that but we kind of relate with some of the character and we get attached to them and they become a big part of them and they mean a lot to us, like to the point where not a lot of ppl understand. like us, with the riordanverse characters, and so, when the character dies even if it's "just fiction" it feels like a part of us is ripped away and it hurts as much as it does with real people.

I can't decide on a monologue to use for my audition
and because I'm a writer I totally just want to write one but I'm pretty sure that's not allowed
it has to be a dramatic monologue of somewhere inbetween 3-5 minutes
