The book follows the life of Samia-al-Sayyid an Iraqi immigrant living in the U.S with her son and the relationships she creates. When a terrorist attack destroys those relationships, she fells responsible and she is forced to flee back to Iraqi where eminent death awaits her. Will she survive?
