I really thought I wasn't going to find a book for Kylie's Task Read a book about someone who makes shoes, a book where shoes have an important role, or a (micro-)history of a shoe designer/brand. , but then I was lent Shoe Dog: A Memoir by the Creator of NIKE by Phil Knight. It's a great business memoir and a thoroughly interesting read on how the brand came to be and what goes n behind the scenes.

I've completed the first:
#34 - Laura -I like to read book set in places I've actually visited. Read a book set somewhere you have visited or lived.

I read As Deep as the Ocean set in Paihai in the Bay of Islands in New Zealand. My husband and I stayed in Russell and took the ferry across to stroll through Paihai during our visit. So neat to be able to picture the exact spot the story is set.
