I haven't been having very good luck.

First the holidays delayed things for me.

Then a family emergency sent me flying across country at 4am on New Year's Day and next to no time to concentrate on anything and a very empty bank account.

Then a touch of the plague that was raging there left me with not only a sinus infection, but infections in both ears as well. (We won't even discuss the first round of symptoms which hit at literally the worst time possible.)

The meds to try to clear this stuff up makes it really difficult to read the text as I keep falling asleep. And feeling like someone is stabbing your ear drums with ice picks makes it really difficult to concentrate.

Its really hard to listen to the audiobook when you can't hear worth crap. And well, that ice pick thing again.

And I can't really take any time off work because of that empty bank account thing.

I will get to it. Hopefully sooner than later.

Sounds awful! May things improve soon so you can resume reading and listening to books, not to mention feeling better and having less stress!
