read this a long time back ( not after 2005) I don't remember the title, author nor the cover. All I remember is part of the plot. Well... It's about this girl, who was a seamstress in her previous life, and she and the prince(?) were in love but he gets forced into marrying a woman senior than him (because he was betrothed to her as a chils or for money) and he dies of heartbreak and stuff. The girl remembers all this when she goes to live in the cottage where her past life lived. And when she meets the reincarnation of her love, their souls recognizes each other and he says her name even though they've just met and there's no way he can know it. THIS is when the reader finally learns her name. there was this one instance where when both of them enters Her room, the past lives try to get them to make out (cos they want to be in each other's arms etc) but she some how pulls away. Then it's like this evil thing just knocks her out (the wife from the past life is an eveil spirit who tries to keep them apart !) and the girl is like I'm not letting you win this time. I think it was YA book and I was like 11 when I read it so it is not a book that was published after 2005

Can you tell us more about the heroine and hero in their current lives - how they meet again, their ages, jobs, skills/interests, etc.? Is there a love triangle?
it was set in England.. In the past life the girl ( or the ghost ) was seamstress and the guy was a Lord. I can't remember much about their current lives BUT they meet when the girl goes to live in the cottage ( again) and he comes to check the land ( or something). When he sees her, its like they instantly knew eachother and he says her name ( though he couldnt have known) and thats the 1st time in the book her name is mentioned.

thanks to your thread searching for the exact same book as mine but containing more detail I was able to do a more exhaustive search on Google. the book is called Unquiet Spirits by K M Peyton!!!!
