Going to read The Hanover Square Affair been sitting on my kindle for a few months

I'm considering either The Impersonator by Mary Miley or A Man of Some Repute by Elizabeth Esmondson for this one. I've also never read a book in the Charlie Chan series; anyone know if those are good, or horribly stereotyped?

I listened to a Man of Some Repute and really enjoyed the audiobook
