Out of all of the ones I've ordered, only 1 was that bad. The thing that really drives me crazy is the paper barcode stickers or any paper sticker that's huge.

My Half Priced Bookstore uses two types of stickers. One is easy to remove off most books, but the other type is a pain. So half my used books have them because I just gave up trying to remove them. (Or I'll rip the book)
I only got The Sleepwalker used, and while you can tell it's used it's in good condition. Bad Moonlight i have on kindle. First Date, The Stepsister and Silent Night I got new. Though there was a sticker, a tiny circle one, on the spine of The Sleepwalker that I attempted to get off....it didn't go so well...
I just leave the barcode stickers on the back. On the front would be annoying though o_o
I'm sorry but i'm participating in Booktubeathon this week/weekend, the last day is Sunday. I won't be able to read it this weekend. I can read it afterwards though, you can read it this weekend if you want to though and i'll just be a bit later.
I'm finally caught up with this challenge! Yay, but let's be real, I'll probably get behind again. lol Set to start The Sleepwalker whenever.Gave Halloween Party a 3 star. I felt meh about it. I was bored and forced myself to finish. Nostalgia wins, so I didn't dislike it or anything, just must not have been in the mood for it.
I gave The Secret Bedroom a 4 star. I read it in one day. I felt a lot more engaged in this book. I really must say that I hated the mean girl aspect, which seems to show up in most RL's books. Also, why do the mean girls have to be redheads?! (Are we really seen as mean, stuck up people? >.> )
Don.... ugh! (view spoiler)
While I noticed mean girls were a common thing in them I didn't realize they do all seem to be red-heads, though i'm not a red-head myself so that's probably why I didn't notice it. Though my husband always says I should be a red-head, that I have the personality for it...not entirely sure what that means though to be honest. I think he means fiery and stubborn. He means it in a good way.I know one real life evil person who has red hair but I know several more people with red hair that are nice people (and realize hair color means nothing) . Stereotypes just suck.
Stereotypes do suck! 😢 I’m an artificial red head but I try not to be mean to anyone. And I wouldn’t say I have a temper. And I live in Tennessee so I never forgot what the stereotype for me is. I hate it 😪
I have read the first 5 chapters, and I very much agree with your spoiler LeighaIt's a new to me read though.
I really don’t remember anything about this one. Haven’t got to chapter 5 yet, I was playing world of Warcraft
I don’t think Myra is a cat gal. Clearly Mrs. Cottler is the maker and supplier for black flame candles.
Chapter 6 (view spoiler)I am liking this so far, it's creepy.
Chapter 8 (view spoiler)
Chapter 10 (view spoiler)
Chapter 12 (view spoiler)
I finished it. I really liked this one. I couldn't remember the plot twist. Gave it a 4 star. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars is how R L Stine always writes a male characters who think they are entitled to the girl character and how the boy treated the girl when she turned him down. Very problematic element. Rape vibes and abusive treatment. Ending spoiler:

I kept meaning to read today and kept being distracted, if I don't finish it tonight then hopefully tomorrow. :)
Up to chapter 8. I agree completely with your spoiler, Stephanie. How scary would that be to wake up in Fear Street woods with no idea how u got there?!

Chapter 15- Stephanie was force feeding Myra some truth but she wasn’t having none of that. It’s damn obvious Walker is not that into her. He’s a teenage boy and instead of being alone with her in his bedroom, they go talk in the living room. And it’s always about his magic tricks? Hello Myra!?
I have it 4 stars. I liked the story and was clueless until the end. And I was glad Hazel battle cat didn’t die!
Glad you liked it :) I didn't expect how it turned out either and love Hazel the cat! Animals know things ^_^
Yep! One of my cat, Dorgan's duties is to alert me to any creepy stuff. My sister & I always grab a cat when we get scared. 😝
I just finished it and I admit I was clueless until the end. I wasn't surprised that Walker was nuts. However Link is also nuts. Myra clearly has issues. I loved Hazel. She was my favorite. 🌟🌟🌟🌟
I’ll probably start Bad Moonlight Saturday. This is the smallest of my sept. Reads. I may have got in over my head but they all sounded so good! Minus joe hill, I’m not crazy over him lol.

Here's hoping we both have a great Sept reading month ^_^
Ashley wrote: "I'll also start Bad Moonlight on Saturday. I admit I hadn't even heard of this one."that's exciting!
I'm set to start Bad Moonlight on Saturday as well. I don't have a large tbr because I stopped making them and I've decided to skip readathons for a while. They are good because, on one hand, they get me hyped to read a bunch, but on the other hand, I usually have a burn out/reading slump after. I'm taking a more relaxed approach to reading. Reading is reading, even if I'm only reading Reddit scary stories. lol
I'm already 52% of the way through Bad Moonlight! I started at 12:30am lol. I've read the first 15 chapters, i'm enjoying it so far. And i've started taking more detailed notes in a notebook to help me remember more of what I read. I plan on doing it for every book from now on. Maybe help my memory. :)
