I'm sorry that you've been feeling like that Leigha, anxiety is a real pig. I've been semi-isolated for 6 weeks with a broken ankle and unable to drive out in the country, but I'm focusing on my gratefulness and the things I am able to do. I hope your family are supporting you and try to take care of yourself. Sending big (non-contagious) hugs. XO

Ty, ugh, it so sucks! I've read a lot of hurtful things people have said about us (the sick and the old) Because of my lungs, I am coughing and feeling all the Covid19 symptoms and my anxiety brings on the flare-ups. Am I sick with Covid19? No, impossible. I've been a hermit, everyone here is being careful. It's just my normal, everyday life, living with lung, heart and other health problems.
I'm sorry you are also compromised. It's scary and I wish others understood how we feel. People are being so flippant about Covid19 saying things like, "don't worry, only the sick and old are at risk. It's just the flu..." etc. Tell that to all the dead and their family, to all the people in quarantine. Also, the sick and old don't deserve to live as long as they possibly can????

Yea, people suck. It's like they don't have any old or sick person they care about. Pretty much everyone does. They just don't think about us.
Yeah and you never know what tomorrow holds. They could get a serious condition and everyone grows old, so...No more bad thoughts! Here is a little humor, but also important stuff to keep in mind. I changed the lyrics to "We're all in this together" a song some might know from High School Musical. Not all in the same tune, but whatever... :D Hope this is okay here! We're all of an age, where we have probably seen HSM, maybe were once big fans, perhaps? Still a fan? :)

I actually never saw High School Musical lol. Never was interested.Distractions are nice. :)
I haven’t seen it either. But I don’t mind musicals.
My favorite movie is a musical, Grease. I enjoy musicals.
I've never seen HSM but I know every word of every Grease song! I particularly loved Sweeney Todd too.
My favorite musical is either Repo! The Genetic Opera or Hairspray, the new one.

I'm sorry guys! I don't think I'm going to finish the book in time because I've been really sick with a sinus infection that has triggered my lung issues. I've been sleeping a lot, and mostly just playing Animal Crossing to help destress. I have read the book before and I believe I did like it back in the day! I'll try to catch up once things cool down. Reading just isn't on my mind right now.

I'm only 3 chapters in. I'll probably read more tomorrow.
I'm going to try to get caught up one of these days, but I am not focusing on reading right now. I'm still alive and my physical sickness from before is a lot better, but this isolation is really messing with my mental health! I'm using puzzles and podcasts as a relaxing, sorta unplugged mental health coping mechanism. (Maybe I'll mix in audiobooks, so I still do some reading, but I'm really enjoying being able to focus on podcasts for once! ) Happy reading!

I just discovered The Magnus Archives which I'm really enjoying, it's horror fiction.
Thanks guys! I've been bingeing Crime Junkies. Puzzling for mental health and distraction, plus listening to true crime sure seems like an odd combo, but I'm enjoying that Podcast. Enjoy doesn't feel like the right word, considering what they talk about, but hopefully you know what I mean!

No, podcast are free. They might have an “upgraded” version but I’ve never had to pay for any.

I love chapter 6! The legend of Pete is great fun and I’m glad kids are still contributing to the spookiness of Fear Street.
Chapter 9- That has got to be the worse gym class in the history of gym in the entire world EVER!
Chapter 14- I like this idea. All these kids gathering in a cemetery for Pete’s birthday. Playing games with him and having a cake for him.
