I really liked this one--it might be one of my new favorites. I thought the dual time line was well done and it kept me guessing. I do wish it had been a little more "holiday" oriented. I felt like Christmas and New Year's were sort of just thrown in there but overall it was a really good one.

I finished it. The jokes really got under my skin. Very annoying and cruel. I hate how the boys (mostly Artie) have such anger management issues and entitlement toward the girls. Take a chill pill, Artie!

I am so glad I never had to deal with a bunch of teenage drama.

I finished it. The book felt like a big mess to me, but maybe that is just me! It wasn't that I did not like it, of course.

Well, mess or not, I did like it. 3 stars for me is not a bad thing. To be honest, a lot of things end up 3 stars when I'm conflicted on how to rate things. I've had books go through every star rating before.

I just started The Hitchhiker. The tone feels different.... oh yeah, this one isn't a Fear Street book. (Same "lovely" cliffhanger chapters, though!)

I am reading, slowly. I've been having a lot of anxiety and sick feelings and just not in the mood to read RL Stine that much. My sickness is caused by anxiety, which causes flares with my lung diseases and other health issues.

Even though I've self-isolated as much as I can (family still have to come and go for work) due to being immunocompromised, I'm freaking out that I am going to get covid19. I'm in the high-risk group of people dying from it.
