Don't wait til Friday, just go tomorrow. Sending you some good health vibes <3
Thanks for your well wishes and concerns! I will keep you updated when I find out more. (there is a possibility that the symptoms are a product of my extreme anemia (It can cause a lot of nasties and is no fun!)I was finally able to get some sleep today, so I feel a lot better sleep-deprived wise.
Thanks Jen!It isn't pneumonia, but it was a flare-up for my asthma + the anemic stuff. Just got done with my check-up and learned I am pre-diabetic as well, and my doc put me on depression/anxiety meds. I left with 5 meds.
Getting old, falling apart. At least this doc listened. :)
I finished the book. 3 stars. The bad guy is too OP and super unrealistic. I know this is RL Stine, but come on, man! This one fell flat for me. I liked it, but also found parts boring.
I have an incredibly large TBR this month, so i'll just get to it whenever I manage. I'll try to read it when others do, but will see what happens. It's a priority of course. :)
I’m not going to reread this one. However, when I did reread it, I took notes. I’ll chime in with my notes.

R.L. Stine is a part of my childhood. We 90's kids know him very well. Slappy the dummy gave me nightmare as kid. My first toutch with horror. I've read: The night of the living dummy, Welcome to dead house, Say cheese and die, the werewolf of the fever swamp.... the list goes on and on.... thank you R. L. Stine for make me piss my bed in the 90s.
I loved Goosebumps as a kid. They are the books that first showed me reading could be fun :) I read whatever I got my hands on in scholastic book fairs.I still enjoy Goosebumps.
Latasha wrote: "I never read any of the a Goosebumps. I was a Fear Street gal."Never read Fear Street. Any recomendations?

Man, not only the books, the tv show was great too. there is nothing like Goosebumps today. They are the books that first showed me reading could be fun to me too and showed me what was horror about.

This is the list of books we've read so far (or are going to be reading in the upcoming months.) I had a few solid 4 star reads, a lot of 3 stars (3 stars isn't bad for me) and of course there will always be some duds with 2 and 1 stars.
If you want a stand-alone
Are some I enjoyed from our group reads!
I've only read the first chapter of "The Wrong Number" I've been feeling under the weather, so I'm not feeling it too much right now and those girls just annoyed me lol Oh, but can we say how outdated this book is! haha"What is that?"
"Oh, this is a phone."
lol yes it's very outdated. Which to me just meant nostalgic. It took me awhile to get into it. I could see why others might not like it though. Also tw: fire (chapter 2) and fatphobia (chapter 3)
I've just picked up my copy of Rosemary's Baby from the library so hoping to get to this one next week. Sounds so far like it's not a dud!
I agree, start with the cheerleaders books. Yeah that cover for wrong number is great. They sure don’t look like high school girls.
Heads up everyone. I was rushed to the ER on Monday at 11pm. Got admitted and am still there. Looks like I have obstructive lung disease, most likely due to my asthma and complications with that. Need oxygen to safely breathe and they won't let me go yet. I'm feeling mostly like a fake because when I'm not moving, I feel fine and the meds are making me peppy. I might not finish the book this month. sorry for typos and weirdness . my hands are covered with stuff and I'm probably high.
love you, you're all great, thanks for having me around! keep me in your thoughts. <3

Thank you all! Yes, Latasha, anyone who wants to send a card can PM for my address. <3 I appreciate the thought. :)

I’m sorry you have been in the hospital, I hope you are home now and feeling better.
I haven’t been reading much the last few months. My mom fell on June 30th and broke her hip. She was in the hospital for a week and then rehab for 3 weeks. She then got home July 29th and was doing ok. Then on August 8th she went back into the hospital because her sodium levels were too low. It’s been a long road this last week to get her stabilized and such. She’s now in rehab again. When she was home my sister and I were taking turns staying over night because she wasn’t getting around by herself. Hopefully now I’ll be able to read a little more.
Sorry to hear that Kellie. Hope she's better soon! I haven't read this month's book yet either, but I"m hoping to get to it this week.
Sorry to hear that Kellie. I hope things start to look up for you all. <3I am home after 9.5 days in the hospital! (I got out on Friday!) I have to be on continuous oxygen and a Bipap machine at night, basically to keep me breathing! Without the oxygen, my oxygen gets way too low and apparently before it had been too low for a while and I was deteriorating and didn't even realize. I don't know how long this will last. The Bipap is a forever thing, and the supplemented oxygen could be as well. It just depends on so many factors.
I have 2 lung diseases (due to asthma and other stuff, like second-hand smoke & mold exposure as a child-20s), and congestive heart failure, which is why I was holding a lot of water and that also puts strain on your breathing as your blood doesn't pump at a normal rate or pump enough oxygen. It's all confusing. CHF sounds scary, but basically, I have to watch my sodium, move around more (very slow, baby steps) and take some water pills to help along the process of getting the excess fluid off.
My oxygen still drops low when I move, even with supplemented oxygen, which is why it is hard to get anywhere. I need the movement (even if just walking in place) to make my heart and lungs stronger.
Anyways, that's my update. They also said I had chronic GERD, allergies and other various things. I'm on ridiculous amounts of medicine right now.
I still haven't even thought about reading or anything. It has been hard to get back into my normal routine, not that my routine was ever super normal. :/
Leigha *Hugs* Glad to hear you're home now. I hope the medicine and oxygen help and wish you the best in feeling better.Kellie, hope your mom feels better soon too.

Oh Leigha, I've been wondering how you were doing. Sending lots of hugs your way.
I’m glad your home Leigha. My mom is on a bipap machine too. Hopefully you will sleep better now. Take it easy & if you need us, we are here for you!
I'm glad you're home, being in the hospital is the worst! So sorry to hear of all this but I hope you're on the mend!
Thanks everyone! She’s doing ok but she just wants to come home. She needs to get stronger before she can though

I think I have Pneumonia and will see a doctor on Friday. Here's hoping I can hold out. I haven't had more than 3 hours of sleep at a time in 3-ish days because of constant coughing! Ugh!
