I'll have to skip the 1st book, and just join in with the 2nd, you can let me know the synopsis in case there's anything I need to know.

Have any of you heard of scribd.com? It is a service for ebooks and audiobooks. They have a lot of R L Stine books, too. Including all three Silent Night books. It is worldwide, but some titles might only be available in some places because of copyright. There is a free trial and then it is $8.99 a month (or whatever the equivalent is in various countries.)

o.m.g this bitch! keep it honey cause your silly little teenage ass must know nothing about karma! and she wonders why anyone would want to hurt her?! ugh Reva! I really, really like what happens in the prologue. that screams of urban legend goodness. I'm up to chapter 2 but will probably read a lot today.
Weekend is no good. I'll start Monday! From what you said Tasha, I am offended Reva (and R L Stine are hating red hair!!)
I have read chapters 2-4. I must say it's interesting reading it after all this time. It's so familiar (even though it must have been about 15 years ago that I read it) I do remember teen me thought Reva was a bitch. Adult me...agrees.
This book does not give me a good first impression. I read it as a teen and I don't remember thinking how horrible Reva was though I must have because Reva is disgusting (how she acts toward her boss and how she makes fun of other people...etc) I would never wish bodily harm on anybody, but I can see why someone would want to target her, as wrong as it is to hurt somebody, regardless if they are a horrible person or not.Prologue down.
Yeah! Tell me about it. She gets worse but freaks out bad when she thinks someone is after her. Girl. 😑🙄 all I remembered about her was sweaters & she was rich. I didn’t remember how awful she was.
I find it amusing how outdated these books are. When I read them, I never thought "one day VCRs are going to be a thing of the past." When I read these, I think it was still pretty neat to have a VCR, big boxed desktop computer(& dial-up Internet), cd players...etc. The 90s man! Chapter 14/15
(view spoiler)
Chapter 10 (view spoiler)I'm now on page 139, i've read 17 chapters. I"m enjoying it. I don't remember who is the culprit.

that really bothered me. I just thought go ahead! just wait til it happens to you bitch!
Reva and Mitch- awful! Who the hell does she think she is?! She won’t think it’s so funny when it happens to her! About Foxy- (view spoiler)
done! I was surprised at who was calling/blackmailing the kids. (view spoiler) I don't know if I'm going with 3.5 or 4, but I liked this one a little more than the others. Missing is still my favorite out of my re-reading of them so far.
I finally had time to read it. I really enjoyed this one. There were a lot of twists and turns that I didn't see.I wasn't very fond of Reva even after she was acting nicer but, I'm curious to see how she will act in the next books.
I bought Silent Night 2 and 3 on kindle and while Silent Night 2 does have the Silent Night 1 cover, it is Silent Night 2.
Part 2 arrived today so I’m starting it now. Of coarse Reva didn’t change or we wouldn’t have part 2 or 3! 😑
Well that’s it girls! I need a new roof but don’t have the money so I’m going to blackmail some roofing guys. And rob a bank to pay them 😝 cause that’s the solution to being broke, right?
So the seemingly character arc of Reva becoming a better person in Silent Night 1 is for...nothing? Of course. I suspected that but was hoping she actually learned something. I plan on starting Silent Night 2 soon.
Oh i don’t know yet. I was just going off the back cover & the first few pages. But she’s not in the first few pages.
Latasha wrote: "Oh i don’t know yet. I was just going off the back cover & the first few pages. But she’s not in the first few pages."Ah. I won't be surprised if she really hasn't changed, but it'll be a nice surprise if she has.

I've also read Chapter 1 and I agree with you. I've read this before, but I couldn't remember how this book started for the life of me, so the first chapter had me confused for a little bit and then I was like O.O really!?
I'm kind of sad by the summary makes it seem that Reva doesn't hang onto her "lessons" from the first book and is up to her old tricks, but I guess we shall see.
Chapter 2 (view spoiler)Chapter 6 (view spoiler)
Chapter 16 (view spoiler)
Chapter 18 (view spoiler)
I've read 68%, 24 chapters (view spoiler)
I've finished. So much messed up stuff in this... I can't even. Are there really people in the world like these characters? Frightening... yikes.(view spoiler)
Maybe a 3.5 rating. I'm not sure if I will round up or down.
Chapter 29 (view spoiler)Chapter 30 (view spoiler)

I did enjoy it and gave it a 3.5 as well.["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>["br"]>
good lord! the materialistic view of Christmas in this book. I do think money can buy a great deal of happiness but damn. maybe because I have family I love, Christmas is never all about money and gifts for us and Pres and Diane did not seem to have any. and they didn't seem too crazy about Danny. Pam did surprise me too but I don't half blame her. Reva won't change and to hell with her. I don't think she will be any different in book 3. maybe after 2 horrible holiday's Daddy will just send her some place warm and be done with it lol.
I don't think she will change either. Based on the synopsis of book 3 and the first sentence of a review on it I saw "You'd think Reva Dalby had learned her lesson and changed her ways after getting kidnapped but she's meaner and snottier than ever."yea...it doesn't sound like Reva will ever learn her lesson.
Stephanie wrote: "I don't think she will change either. She doesn't need to keep trying to be nice to her just because they are family.
Latasha wrote: "Stephanie wrote: "I don't think she will change either. True family isn't always blood, and Reva isn't really family to Pam. Not even close. I think Pam deserves better than Reva.
Right, so I'm way behind and I can't get hold of a copy of the 1st book so can someone give me a quick rundown of what happens in #1 including spoilers so I can crack on with #2 in case there's anything I need to know before starting it. Cheers.
Reva is a spoiled rich asshole and she plays with people's emotions and lives and almost gets killed for it. says she will change but doesn't seem to and i'm up to book 3. her mom died in a plane crash. papa owns super fancy dept. stores, Dalby's.
Book 3Ok Grace, I got a spell for Rory and here’s what we are going to do... lol. OR just don’t answer the phone!
I’m finished! Thank god. I liked this plot best but I’m so over Reva! I wish this one had been used in book 1.

Lol! I’m evil then but it’s ok. My sister is more evil than me but at least we are together being evil 😝😂
