You have such a good list! I hope you are able to work some of them into your schedule next year. I want to try to read Snow Country in 2018. I've heard such good things about it. Best of luck on your challenge.
I've read 6 of yours -- you're going to love them! I am interested in So Big. I have not read Ferber and think I really need to. I'll watch for your review :)

Good catch! I've been editing my challenges and obviously forgot what I was working on.

I recently read Snow Country and found it an interesting read. The title really describes the atmosphere in the novel.

I'm not sure where it will fit in my reading, but I want to read it in 2018.

You have some outstanding reading ahead of you. Ethan Frome was the first book of Wharton’s I ever read, I’ve been hooked on her writing ever since. Lamb in his Bosom is a personal favorite since some of my family moved into Georgia from the Carolina’s during the same time fame as the book. Some of the stories I heard from older family members sounded a lot like the story in Ms. Miller’s book, I loved it. Wide Sargasso Sea was, I’ll say is a different, but a good story, it’s been to long since reading for much detail. My Cousin Rachel, Bridge to Terabithia, and The Color Purple are books that I read this year, all were goodreads. Enjoy your challenge.
So glad you're doing this, Katy. So Big and Lamb in His Bosom are on my year long plan. I hope you enjoy these.
Finished 1900-1909: The Tale of Peter Rabbit by Beatrix Potter, 1901. A short one to get me started on this quest.
Sara wrote: "Her illustrations make her books worth the reading!"
Absolutely. I am so glad her publisher asked for color illustrations.

A good read."
I'm glad to hear that, Katy. Lagerlöf's underrated in English, especially for a Nobel Prize winner.
her The Wonderful Adventures of Nils is great too. It makes the geography of the country come alive for you.
