This isn't something librarians can help with, as we have no control over site functionality. The author feedback group may be more helpful to you- https://www.goodreads.com/group/show/....
ETA: Genres are crowd sourced and will show up dependent on how users shelve the book on GR.
Ok thanks Cansandra you are busy today......I think the genre is controlled by bookshelf adding.I thought my book might have been listed as a December release though.

Room 119 - The Whitby Trader has many reviews and is av 4.64 at the moment. I just wondered why I don't appear on the New Releases pages for any genre?
And how can I add a genre to the book its a mystery, thriller with a touch of fantasy and suspense?
I thought with such a high score after 25 ratings I might appear somewhere?
