I'm looking for a thriller (horror?) book that I read two years ago. It's about an unknown new presence on Earth, that when people see it, they go crazy and kill themselves. Time passes by, and there's very few survivors. People have to live locked inside their houses with curtains drawn, and if they go outside, they have to wear blindfolds. One lady tries to escape to a safe place by floating blindfolded down a river with her children. Does anyone know what this is???
